My Purpose as a Doula
My job as your doula is to walk alongside all of you - happy, tired, hangry - it's all natural to me! My hope is to add to your village and provide support through the transition of welcoming your new baby.
I may bring a cup of tea, share safe tips for post-birth healing, and offer resources when your family needs them most.
Postpartum Doula
- Prenatal visit (if hired prior to birth, generally 1-2 hours)
- Feeding/breastfeeding guidance
- Infant care (ex. diapering, soothing, etc.)
- Post-birth food/nutrition education
- Meal preparation, homecare**
- Errand assistance (ex. dog walking)
- Maternal support (post-labor care, navigating rest, etc.)
- Partner support (guidance surrounding infant care)
- Sibling assistance/integration
- Health care referral recommendation**
- Overnight support
fees
Daytime Support
Fees are $30 per hour for in-home postpartum support. If money is a challenge, lets discuss.
